What is Indefinite Chilled Rolls(IC ROLLS)?

The Indefinite Chilled Rolls are manufactured by casting of the iron, This Rolls are cast iron grades containing graphite and carbides in a tempered martensitic matrix. Softer grades contain more graphite and less carbide. The graphite content is responsible for the excellent spall and fire crack resistance.

These rolls are usually double poured. Double poured rolls combine wear resistance of the shell together with toughness of the ductile iron core. An established brand as an Indefinite Chilled Rolls Manufacturer in China, we've been producing Indefinite Chilled Rolls or Mill Rolls by the centrifugal spin casting method by using the double pour technique.

Excellent surface finish combined with high wear and fire crack resistance makes these rolls an excellent choice for Hot Strip Mills. Without ICDP grades, presently flat rolling in the last finishing stands is not possible.

To improve the wear resistance of the rolls, strong carbide forming alloying elements is added to the shell material. As the result, the shell indefinite chill microstructure is enhanced with discrete extremely hard Niobium and Vanadium carbides. Existing properties of bruise crack and fire crack resistance are all maintained.

We tend to as a Chilled Rolls manufacturer and exporter of those chill rolls that are wide employed in as a chilled forged iron rolls or mill rolls for the flour mills, animal feed mills, oil seed crushing, steel re-rolling mills, pipe mill, tube mills, mineral & different numerous industries.

LMM GROUP steel metallurgy a full range of mill rolls – spun cast iron, cast steel and forged steel.

We manufacture both cast and forged rolls for the most flat hot and cold rolling applications.
